Renovation and circularity at the heart of the project. Astro 23 combines rehabilitation and new construction
The Nagelmackers bank's former headquarters at Avenue de l'Astronomie 23, 1210 Saint-Josse-ten-Noode in central Brussels, along with the adjacent land on Rue Potagère 15-29, is set to undergo a transformative development into a cutting-edge office and residential project, aligning with the highest environmental and comfort standards.
The office space will boast 7,600 m2 of fully renovated areas, with a strong emphasis on sustainable practices. The renovation plan includes key principles such as material reuse, circular economy practices, achieving nearly-zero energy efficiency, and alignment with EU taxonomy standards.
On the adjoining plot, currently utilized as a car park, a new residential complex will be constructed, featuring 20 units surrounded by lush greenery. The project prioritizes accessibility, landscape quality, well-designed interior circulation spaces, and the conservation of biodiversity. Astro 23 emerges as a pioneering project tailored to meet the needs and expectations of future occupants.
Permit applications have been submitted on 26 May 2023.
